Attorney Charles Abate is the best representation of professionalism, honesty and excellence in a lawyer since he did an excellent job in our real estate transaction as follows: • He protects client’s interest in each part of our real estate transaction, specifically to us as sellers through deep ...knowledge of Fed, State (CT)/local regs. • Very good ability to negotiate and obtain the best conditions for his clients. • He performed contract drafting and review, putting it together in a clear and simple fashion, avoiding potential future disputes and legal risks. • He verified and investigated the history of our property confirming there were no impediments or legal restrictions. • Transactions were done in a safe and thorough (following regs and laws) manner. In summary, he was the best recommendation we got from our real estate agent since he has ample similar experience in these transactions, is detail oriented and has a very good reputation. We amply recommend him.

Deed-In-Lieu

I called Chas Abate late in the process in a deed-in-lieu where I was getting the run around from the mortgage company. What took me a year to get to a stale mate he quickly brought this to a final resolution. Not many attorneys would get involved this late in the process but he not only did but w...ent to court the next day. Many thanks to Chas and I sleep much better at night thanks to him. I would highly recommend him and it was money well spent. I even received a refund for the money the mortgage company took from my account incorrectly 2 years prior that started the whole mess in the first place. His final invoice was detailed and extremely fair. If I had to do this all over again he would be the first person I would call. He has restored my faith in the legal system after getting the run around from the attorneys from the mortgage company. Thank you Chas you are truly a good person.
