I hired Alex when I began the process of purchasing a new home. Unlike most attorneys Alex made himself available when I needed him most, unlike many other attorneys. His specialty is Real estate and he knows his field extremely well and is detail oriented. Never did I ever have to wonder, does he kn...ow what he’s doing. All his i s are dotted and all his t s are crossed. Additionally he “always” has your best interests in mind, always. I feel very comfortable working with him which for me puts me at ease. He even negotied our closing charges from the mortgage broker down as much as he could! I recently hired Alex for a real estate closing. Before I signed the contract, Alex went over every paragraph with me in detail. During the negotiations Alex kept me constantly informed on the sellers decisions, and was always prompt to answer all of my many questions. As part of the closing I put my... money into his law firms trust account as I was pulling funds from a few different assets, and I didn't want to show up to the closing with 5 different checks. Money makes me nervous, but Alex confirmed every deposit I made which helped keep my anxiety in check. Now, this is why Alex gets a status of Excellent; At the closing, he went above and beyond what any lawyer would do. The day of the closing we had some last minute issues as part of the final walk through. The sellers offered me a low credit or said we would have to postpone the closing (which I didn't want to do). Alex waited with me, for 2 hours at the sellers law office while the sellers team figured things out. That's right, he waited patiently with me as the sellers agreed to our terms (of putting some money in escrow till the problems were fixed) I needed to close on that date, and Alex made it happen. I feel that any other lawyer would have postponed the closing or would have charged me extra for two full hours of extra time. Most of my corporate lawyer friends bill out in 6 minute increments, but Alex calmly held my hand for 2 hours while the sellers came to a consensus, and as a result, we got the deal done. Before I hired Alex, I had met him once or twice before as my good friend use to work at his previous firm. After this closing, I would like to call Alex a friend as only a friend (and not a lawyer) would have helped me as much as he did.

He explained issues in great detail so that I would understand the process. He provided me with status updates and always returned my call. Alex was proa...ctive on many fronts including ordering a title report way in advance of it being requested by the bank. He always suggested acting "on the abundance of caution" to ensure total preparedness. There were times when the deal was close to falling through and Alex did what he could to keep the deal viable. On the day of the closing there was a situation that occurred that may have prevented us from closing on that day. Alex went above and beyond to make sure we closed on that date. When inquiring about an attorney when I found a house, I had three attorneys to choose from. I chose Alex because of the vast complimenting reviews he had received.
