With a primary focus in the secured financing industry, I have counseled lenders and mortgage servicers facing a myriad of claims, including UDAP and lender liability claims as well as the protection of and recovery of collateral. My roles have included active litigation, special in-house litigation counsel and outside managing counsel for various clients.

My practice covers federal and New York and Connecticut state law. I deal daily with the federal Truth in Lending Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Credit Billing Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and their State statutory counterparts.

A sampling of my work includes lender liability and compliance litigation, class actions, real estate litigation, secured financing disputes, contract disputes, mechanic's lien disputes, and tort claims. But most of all, I enjoy the strategic use of equitable remedies to attain my clients' goals.
