Sunayana Georgiades

Since 2014, I have practiced Family Law exclusively, including divorce, alimony, child support and custody, the division of assets, cohabitation, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and post-judgment enforcement and modification actions.

I was recognized as a Connecticut Super Lawyers ® Rising Star in Family Law for 2021 and 2022. Each year, no more than 2.5% are named to the Rising Stars List. 

I earned my law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. I was a member of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal, serving as a Notes and Comments Editor. Through the school’s Mediation Clinic, I gained invaluable alternative dispute resolution and negotiation skills. During law school, I interned with the supervising judge of the Nassau County Family Court and the Legal Department of the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.

I am admitted to practice law in Connecticut and New York and am a member of the Fairfield County and Connecticut Bar Associations. I serve as a volunteer mentor for the Women’s Leadership Collective Mentorship Program at the University of Connecticut, where I mentor and advise female undergraduate students seeking to pursue a career in law.
