For 15 years, I have represented parents of students with disabilities at IEP meetings, mediation and due process hearings to assist them in securing a free and appropriate public education (FAPE). I present at national and intersational conferences on the subject of civil reights for students with disabilities. As a prior special education teacher, I learned about school district policies and practices.
