Landlord Tenant Extraordinaire!

I cannot understand some of these negative comments. I have dealt with dozens of lawyers in my lifetime and Abram ranks as one of the best in his field. He isnt a criminal attorney or a divorce lawyer, he is a landlord tenant lawyer and if you know one better then send him to me. This is ALL he does.... This is his life. He lives at Housing Court and knows every clerk, every Judge and every security guard. And while that wont get you a "win" it does get you respect when you walk in with a friendly face. He is a pit bull with no mercy and I say that with the utmost respect. I was overwhelmed with joy that he was on my side and the Landlord/Bank wasn't too pleased with my selection. One more thing.. when I met him for the first time he was very clear that he wasnt good with answering calls or returning calls, but he knows the law and his calendar/scheduling. Hire him, pay him and then let him do his thing. If you are a tenant hire him to keep you put and if you are a landlord hire him to get someone out. He is that good.

Abram Heisler is exceptionally well versed in housing law. He has represented us numerous times. I would fear having him on the opposing team. If you are a Landlord, RETAIN Abram NOW! If you are a tenant, RETAIN Abram NOW ! He who retains Abram first, WINS ! I, like very much having him on our sid...e. Mr. Heisler is out to help the underdog. He does not always have the best bed side manner, but who does. He is very fair with his clients and strives for the best results. He is very dedicated to keeping you in your home and keeping your landlord or Condo Association in line. He is informal, so if you are the formal type, you have to become informal, because he is always hustling to help people. Abram Heisler knows housing law, a very niche area of law, that not many lawyers work in. He is not your white shoe lawyer, but he usually if not always prevails.

Abram Heisler A+ A+ A+

Abram Heisler is the Michael Jordon of Housing Law in the State of Connecticut. He is more than fair to his clients, has a good heart and does not take advantage of clients. The Courts know Abram to be a conscientious attorney who knows the law and cares for his clients. He is genuinely concerned ...at seeing that you are kept in your home. If you are a landlord, and are up against Abram Heisler, you best have someone who knows his/her stuff, because Abram is a forensic Housing Lawyer, who fights tooth and nail for his clients. We consider Abram an Angel of sorts and our friend. Abram is always polite, a little bit off the wall, but at the end of the day, he would be the guy who would come out in the middle of the night for you if you needed him. If you speak to him on the telephone, keep it concise. If you go to his Norwalk office, expect a flow of constant telephone calls and people coming into his office to hold brief conversations about their case, If you are being evicted, call Abram Heisler. He will examine your situation and petition to keep you in your home, free of harassment from your landlord or the Bank. Abram Heisler does not want to see people put on the streets. Margo & Jim

Abusive Experience

First started with Attorney Heisler with a traffic case. He said he would handle it, blew it off and so I got cited for non payment of fine. Attorney Heisler paid the fines but I got the record. He didn't charge me. Then he did my will, made himself executor telling me that that was best. Questionabl...e decision and he somehow Lost the will? Again no charges. Then he told me that he was handling a case and again he just blew it off until I found it out. By then he had started taking loans, which I felt compelled to grant as he had done work for free. Then bad checks started coming in, and then I discovered loaning your attorney money was against their code of ethics, which he had violated before and was sanctioned by the state for it. Attempts at getting finances straightened out and my will found became increasingly abusive. I have since left Attorney Heisler and wish I had known of his State record before I became involved.

An attorney of integrity, accountability and heart

My personal experience with Attorney Heisler has been phenomenal. He is a man of honor who represents as one who genuinely cared about my circumstances. He always followed through, had an open door policy, and worked diligently to strategically assess and create a blueprint on how to navigate throug...h the process of bankruptcy in a clear and concise way. I will continue to make referrals to potential clients based on how well he represented me.
