Abram Heisler is exceptionally well versed in housing law. He has represented us numerous times. I would fear having him on the opposing team. If you are a Landlord, RETAIN Abram NOW! If you are a tenant, RETAIN Abram NOW ! He who retains Abram first, WINS ! I, like very much having him on our sid...e. Mr. Heisler is out to help the underdog. He does not always have the best bed side manner, but who does. He is very fair with his clients and strives for the best results. He is very dedicated to keeping you in your home and keeping your landlord or Condo Association in line. He is informal, so if you are the formal type, you have to become informal, because he is always hustling to help people. Abram Heisler knows housing law, a very niche area of law, that not many lawyers work in. He is not your white shoe lawyer, but he usually if not always prevails.

Abram Heisler A+ A+ A+

Abram Heisler is the Michael Jordon of Housing Law in the State of Connecticut. He is more than fair to his clients, has a good heart and does not take advantage of clients. The Courts know Abram to be a conscientious attorney who knows the law and cares for his clients. He is genuinely concerned ...at seeing that you are kept in your home. If you are a landlord, and are up against Abram Heisler, you best have someone who knows his/her stuff, because Abram is a forensic Housing Lawyer, who fights tooth and nail for his clients. We consider Abram an Angel of sorts and our friend. Abram is always polite, a little bit off the wall, but at the end of the day, he would be the guy who would come out in the middle of the night for you if you needed him. If you speak to him on the telephone, keep it concise. If you go to his Norwalk office, expect a flow of constant telephone calls and people coming into his office to hold brief conversations about their case, If you are being evicted, call Abram Heisler. He will examine your situation and petition to keep you in your home, free of harassment from your landlord or the Bank. Abram Heisler does not want to see people put on the streets. Margo & Jim

An honest, exceptional attorney, with no equal in the State of Connecticut

I have known Attorney Heisler for fifteen years, and he has handled several delicate, as well as difficult cases for myself and my family. He is one of the most hard working lawyers I know, and...I know A LOT of them, on top of it he is HONEST, and frankly, charges too little for the level of knowle...dge he possesses along with the exceptional service he provides. I have to also add that he is the MOST experienced housing attorney in Connecticut; in fact, at one time in court a Judge stated to my opponent in court while he was representing me that Attorney Heisler could WRITE the housing "book," as he has so much experience in this field, as well as how the appeals process works, that most every housing Judge that he deals with recognizes his exceptional knowledge in the field, and it was surprising to have a Judge, ON THE RECORD, say this in open court! I have yet to have any other attorney be held in such high regard from any Judge in my lifetime, and I have had plenty of attorneys, esp divorce and housing attorneys. He is courteous, hard working, and professional. He is a bit overwhelmed, unfortunately, sometimes, due to the amount of pro-bono work that he does, however, it is evident that he is still one of the FEW attorneys practicing today that is doing what he does...FOR THE RIGHT reasons, and NOT for the $$$. You will NOT find a better Attorney in the entire state of Connecticut to represent you. IF you must, call the clerks of your local GA Courthouse and respectfully ask who is the best...and his name will inevitably come up. Another note of interest, in one case when he was representing me, the JUDGE asked him what the law was, and what would be the "forks" in the road that were possible should the Judge find in one manner or another; I have never in my life seen a Judge asking an attorney what possibilities exist once his/her decision was rendered before in my life. It speaks volumes as to his level of expertise, and fundamental knowledge of the laws of the state concerning housing matters. I have recommended him over and over, and will never need anyone when it comes to housing issues again. He is the "best of the best."
