Abram J Heisler

Atty Heisler was referred as a specialist in tenant/landlord issues. We went and discussed our situation. He asked us simple questions which resulted in him knowing he could help us resolve our situation. There were three cases in total with our Landlord, all resolved in our favor due to the truth o...f the matter. I believe that those who do not think he has done right for them, in his representation for them, where asking for what could not be given. He will not got into court, knowingly to do wrong. If you wanted something you could not obtain from the court system, or wanted what could not be given - you should not have turned to Atty Heisler because he is not that type of Lawyer. The rule of the law, is the rule of the law. He can not change it for you or anyone, he will help you with it, that is why he is good at it because he will not go against it.

I cannot understand some of these negative comments. I have dealt with dozens of lawyers in my lifetime and Abram ranks as one of the best in his field. He isnt a criminal attorney or a divorce lawyer, he is a landlord tenant lawyer and if you know one better then send him to me. This is ALL he does.... This is his life. He lives at Housing Court and knows every clerk, every Judge and every security guard. And while that wont get you a "win" it does get you respect when you walk in with a friendly face. He is a pit bull with no mercy and I say that with the utmost respect. I was overwhelmed with joy that he was on my side and the Landlord/Bank wasn't too pleased with my selection. One more thing.. when I met him for the first time he was very clear that he wasnt good with answering calls or returning calls, but he knows the law and his calendar/scheduling. Hire him, pay him and then let him do his thing. If you are a tenant hire him to keep you put and if you are a landlord hire him to get someone out. He is that good.

Abram Heisler is a godsend!! Best lawyer I've ever hired! He is an expert in housing law. He is fair, honest, and diligent. He always takes and returns phone calls. Very punctual on submitting documents, and is always on top of your case. But most of all, he makes his clients feel comfortable and rea...ssured. He helped my family and I start a new life at a moment where I thought I had no where to turn. He is an equal opportunity lawyer, and in my opinion charges way too little for the extraordinary services he provides. If you are a tenant and in need of counsel, please call him. He will get things done! A huge weight has been lifted from back since I hired him, and I owe him a huge debt of gratitude for the amazing work he has done for my wife and kids. HIRE HIM!!! Best decision I've ever made!

Impossible to speak to him. Often promises to do something then forgets. It was my impressionism that he would promise anything . The billing is not clear and often not itemized. I paid for an eviction by he did not go to court and that did not matters. once you pay, you will never get your money ba...ck. He will promised anything. Terrible experience, I had to call and remind him of time sensitive material and often he could not fine my file.

I hired Abram Heisler to evict a tenant who had stopped paying rent. I met with Abram at noon. Within three hours, there was a marshal serving a notice to quit at the tenant's door. My ONLY regret, is that I didn't hire Abram a month earlier. Tenant is now gone and I have my life back. Slam dunk....
