We could not run our business without Martin McCann

I first met Martin about 12 years ago when our business was small. He setup the process for me to join the firm as a small equity partner. We initially did not need his services for operational aspects of the business we were small and our needs were rather simple. Our business became more comp...licated and we needed good advice and counsel on a wide range of operational issues. From employee classification and employment contracts, to client and partnership contracts. What makes Martin very effective is his financial background coupled with his legal background. He is reticent to litigate as it often is not a cost effective avenue for resolving disputes. When we have had to litigate, Martin is able to bring the case to a quick close. We use Martin almost exclusively for our legal needs and only bring in other counsel when he feels it might be out of his expertise. My business partner and I are always amazed at his breadth of knowledge in legal, operational and financial terms. I cannot imagine how we could run our business without his services. A broad player who brings a wealth of expertise to multiple disciplines.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
