Biography
Karen A. McCormack, Esq., a practicing attorney for 20 years in the community, was formerly a partner with Costello and McCormack, PC.
McCormack’s practice areas include family law, personal injury and residential real estate closings.
McCormack has long roots in Fairfield County, and has been recognized by several organizations for her altruistic endeavors and volunteer activities throughout her legal career.
McCormack has been a 15-year volunteer with Emerge, Inc., an organization that provides housing, counseling and supportive services to women and children victims of domestic violence. She has also served as chairperson of Emerge’s board.
Additionally, McCormack has provided pro bono legal advice to domestic violence victims at both the Family Justice Center, and the Domestic Violence Crisis Center of Stamford and Norwalk. McCormack also offers free legal advice to the underserved at the Greenwich YWCA.
McCormack is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Bridgeport Bar Association. She is also a former lecturer of business law at Housatonic Community College.
McCormack graduated from Fairfield University, and earned her Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University.
McCormack’s office provides free consultations, and both evening and weekend appointments.

excellent
without a doubt, my case turned my way with retaining Attny McCormack. A judge complimented me in open court with having retained such an experienced and respected attorney. Opposition knew immediately no games could be played anymore and resolution that was in the best interest of my minor child.

Probate matter.

Helpful and Honest Lawyer

Generous and Knowledgable
Karen has helped me twice over the past year with two different issues. She didn't charge me yet spent as long as it took for her to guide me through my questions. I don't know of any other attorney who would take that much time to help and not charge an arm and a leg!
