I am one of the beneficiaries of my stepfather’s estate and contacted the attorney handling the probate to ask basic questions about the process and concerns about missing items. Unfortunately, my experience was very negative. When I explained that the executor wasn’t communicating and items were ...disappearing, he told me to “just put sticky notes on what you want,” which didn’t address the real issues. When I repeated my concerns about unfair treatment, he raised his voice and spoke to me in an aggressive, disrespectful tone. I had to ask him multiple times to stop speaking to me that way. I found him rude, unprofessional, and lacking compassion. Given the executor’s actions and the confusion around whether they aligned with proper probate procedure, I expected the attorney to show concern and demonstrate a clear understanding of the law instead of dismissing my questions. Even though he represents the executor, I expected courtesy and a clear explanation of the process. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm.
