Meaghan M Griffin

Meaghan attended Providence College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Certificate in Business Studies. The following year, she attended Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida to obtain her Juris Doctorate Degree.   Throughout law school, Meaghan actively competed as a team member on her school’s Moot Court Board.

After her first year of law school, Meaghan was a summer intern for the Attorney General for the State of Connecticut where she worked with the Department of Child Protection.  The following summer, Meaghan earned academic credit in international law while studying abroad in Rio De Janeiro.   She spent the rest of her summer as an intern for the New Haven Legal Aid Association (NHLAA), where she was assigned a position in the Juvenile Matters Unit.  During Meaghan’s final year of law school, Meaghan obtained an externship at the Powell Law Firm, a civil litigation and appellate advocacy firm in Fort Myers, Florida.

Meaghan is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.    Dedicated to being an active member of her community, she also provides free legal services to Carolyn’s Place, a non-profit organization located in Waterbury.

Meaghan practices in the field of personal injury and is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut.
