Jeremy Ian Stein

Jeremy Stein is an accomplished trial attorney with twenty years of experience in complex civil and criminal litigation in federal and state courts. Early in his career, Jeremy served as a law clerk to the Honorable Patricia A. Broderick in the District of Columbia Superior Court. Working for the Attorney General’s office of the District of Columbia, Jeremy tried over thirty cases while serving as chief prosecutor of the Drug Court. He continued his practice in Baltimore as public defender in the Felony Trial Division. Since 2004, Jeremy has maintained a civil trial practice, including white collar criminal defense. He works together with private individuals, businesses, government entities and insurers. Jeremy has tried difficult cases for his clients in many jurisdictions, and is presently admitted to practice in NY, CT, DC, MD and GA. Jeremy is involved in the defense of professional liability claims, including employment practices. He has served as counsel for companies in the sports, wellness, and fitness industry, and has represented some of the country’s largest sports clubs and facilities. Jeremy has handled product liability claims. He is a public safety diver for Newtown Underwater Search and Rescue, and has used this unique knowledge to represent diving equipment manufacturers and certifying agencies. Jeremy has served as a Village Attorney for Pelham Manor, NY. This experience lends itself to his representation of municipalities and local government entities, including enforcement of local laws and ordinances. Jeremy has also handled construction claims under New York Labor Law, and defended high exposure motor vehicle and trucking accident cases. A member of Rotary Club International, Jeremy enjoys volunteering and sharing his skills outside of the courtroom.
