Erin Alissa O'Neill

Erin began working with Attorney Welcome in April 2015. She primarily assists with immigration cases. Erin received her finance degree from Stonehill College in Massachusetts. She used this degree for four years post-graduation, working first for State Street Bank in Boston, Massachusetts and later for Bridgewater Associates, a global investment management firm in Westport, Connecticut. She soon realized, though, that what she was looking for was a practice where she could make a positive impact in the lives of others and believed that practicing law was an ideal way to achieve this goal.

Erin used her time in law school to gain as much experience as possible. She learned about the criminal defense system while working at the Office of the Public Defender in Waterbury, Connecticut. She also practiced her mediation skills at the Judicial Family Services Office in Middletown, Connecticut. One of the experiences Erin is most grateful for is her time under the guidance of the very skilled and passionate attorneys at a small low bono firm in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It was at this firm that she discovered her passion for practicing immigration law.

In May of 2014, Erin graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, President of the International Human Rights Law Society, and served as an Editor of the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal in her time there. Erin’s passion for helping others propels her to give her full attention and share her positive attitude with each client.
