Landlord / tenant dispute
On two different occasions, I needed help in dealing with tenants that did not want to pay their rent. Attorney Kent Miller represented us in Court to our complete satisfaction.

A True Professional
Attorney Miller recently defended me in a small claims case and saved me over $2,000.00. He made sure to answer all the questions I had and others I didn't even think of asking. He has an insightful outlook and encyclopedic knowledge of the law. Attorney Miller set my at ease and then fulfilled my expectations both in and out of court

Awesome
In your life, have you ever been afraid of or disillusioned by an attorney? I have until I talked with attorney Kent Miller. I had, legal issues, from estate planning, landlord, and tenant evictions. Kent helps me navigate the complex laws. When I had so many questions, He was there for me. Kent is patient and understanding. There is perception attorneys are aloof, Kent is the exception. Kent is a fighter. He gets the job done. I would have been drifting down a rapidly flowing river on a tiny inner tube without his guidance. I consider Kent a friend of mine. Kent is one of those attorneys I don’t want to be without.

Housing Application Problems
I had some problems, discrepancies and questions regarding recent housing applications I submitted and was worried that mistakes I made could result in legal troubles and recourse from the landlord. Attorney Miller was incredibly patient and assuring and explained many avenues I could take to resolve the issues. This is my first time asking for legal consultation and Attorney Miller's attitude, knowledge and professionalism was not only fantastically helpful but also incredibly assuaging. I know that for any possible future legal questions or issues, I would definitely retain the services of Attorney Miller, who has my full confidence and more importantly, trust. Thank you!

Personable, reliable, attentive, dedicated and a true professional
Kent was recommended to me and I couldn't be happier with the work he provided while trying to sell my condo in Connecticut. Any time I needed to speak with Kent, ask him questions or ask his opinion about a certain situation he was always ready, willing and able to talk. Kent walked me through each page of the contract ensuring I understood what I was signing and making sure I was making the right choice. He never led me astray, or pushed me to make a decision that I wasn't happy with. I would recommend Kent to anyone in need of a lawyer because I am confident that he would provide anyone he works for the best support possible.

Fantastic legal advice: solid, knowledgeable, easy to understand
Kent advised me through a very difficult and complicated alimony situation in which I was representing myself. His help in navigating the legal system made it possible for me to win. Great to work with! When I had to deal with a lot of legal terms and procedures, Kent simplified for me in a way that was easy to understand and follow. Could not have won without his help.

Spot on
Kent listened very carefully to all of the details that I gave him. He was then very precise with guidance on which actions would be more effective if I took them myself and which would be more effective if undertaken by an attorney. I am very confident that the results will be both more effective and less costly.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2006.

Conditions issued in CT, 2006
updated on 08/25/2022

A condition is a disciplinary order from the Statewide Grievance Committee that an attorney fulfill a condition within a certain time frame. If the attorney does not fulfill a condition in a timely manner, the Superior Court may also impose any condition necessary to protect the public.

Kent's comment: “All conditions were satisfied in 2006. There are no conditions remaining. The decision can be found here: http://www.jud.ct.gov/SGC/decisions/050708.htm The Committee found that a receipt for fees was not a sufficiently formal fee agreement and ordered me to attend a continuing legal education seminar.”
