Connecticut criminal trial lawyer in state in federal court. Receiver of the 2015 Top 100 Trial Lawyers Award from the National Trial Lawyers, as well as the 2014 Connecticut Law Tribune New Leaders In The Law award. and the 2014 Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers. He is currently Chairman of the State of Connecticut Statewide Grievance Committee. He is also co-chairman of the Criminal Law Section of the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association.
Some of Attorney Riccio's recent accomplishments include: successfully defending former Major League Baseball player Jose Offerman in felony assault charges; successfully defending three clients at trial against sexual assault allegations, achieving NOT GUILTY verdicts after jury deliberation; successfully defending a client in a federal criminal drug conspiracy case, achieving a NOT GUILTY verdict after five days of jury deliberation; successfully achieved a dismissal of federal drug conspiracy charges; successfully achieved a dismissal of federal child pornography charges; successfully defended a client in a federal criminal explosives conspiracy case, achieving a NOT GUILTY verdict after two days of jury deliberation.
