Personal Injury

I hired Attorney Arons to represent me in a personal injury case. During the consultation, he was kind and straightforward so I decided to move forward with hiring him to help me with my case. Throughout the process, he has been extremely rude and has done a poor job handling the case. His office was... trying to pay off medical liens before I even signed a release form. His office insisted that I was responsible for those medical bills and that they had done everything to reduce the amount of money owed. I then called two providers and discovered that one invoice, totaling $1,200, was written off and the other provider wrote off $1,500 of the $3,200 balance owed. Whenever I asked him to explain anything related to the case, he would get upset and dismiss my concerns. In one instance, he called me several times while I was working to argue and yell at me and his paralegal, Deborah. I would not recommend this lawyer to represent you. Overall, not a good experience.

We simply cannot tolerate the threat of a negative review to be used as leverage. "If you don't do XYZ, I will write a bad review". Almost a form of blackmail. We won't do it. No one should.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 1994.

Reprimand issued in CT, 1994

updated on 02/03/2009

A reprimand is an order from the Statewide Grievance Committee after it has found that an attorney has engaged in ethical misconduct. If an attorney receives more than 3 reprimands in 5 years, a presentment must be filed against the attorney so the Superior Court can decide if more serious discipline should be ordered.
