AMAZING attorney

I retained Jackie for my divorce last year. It was an extremely difficult and stressful time for me emotionall and financially, and I could not have chosen a more amazing person to be on my side. Not only does she know the law inside out due to years of experience, she’s also an extremely compassion...ate human being. She held my hand through the entire ordeal, wiped my tears, but also got me to pull myself together when it was time. She returned every single one of my phone calls and emails within the hour (usually within 10 minutes, including on weekends). Her advice was always spot on. She never missed a beat. She’s extremely well known and highly respected in the Milford courthouse, where all our proceedings took place. After years of being bullied, I was finally able to achieve a fair outcome, and I was able to retain the things most important to me. My circumstances are different than most, and due to having 3 children, one of which is extremely medically complex requiring 24/7 care, I had to leave a successful career in order to make sure I can raise my special needs son at home alongside his siblings. My parents actually paid for her services for me, and although the services she provided exceeded the retainer paid, she actually waived the remainder of her fees, knowing how difficult things were for me financially. I wax moved to tears by her kindness and generosity. She’s an absolutely amazing woman, and if you ever find yourself in the unexpected place of needing a divorce attorney, i highly recommend her. She’s worth every penny.

FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE

As human beings, each and every one of us has our trails and tribulations that we experience and, hopefully, overcome in our lives. I feel that the knowledge and perspective we garner from these experiences should be shared with others to help them in their own journey. For that reason, I would li...ke to share my personal story. Recently I went throughout a contentious divorce after a long marriage. This was a stressful time for me, with many life changing decisions to be made. The prospect of navigating through the this process was confusing stressful and overwhelming. Fortunately, I was referred to Attorney Jacqueline F. Barbara, who represented me in my divorce. From the initial consultation through the conclusion of the divorce. I was impressed not only by Attorney Barbara's expertise, knowledge, experience and professionalism, but also by her compassion and attentiveness. Attorney Barbara always responded to my questions, emails and telephone calls quickly and clearly addressed all my concerns. I knew that she truly cared about me as a person, not just another client. As a result, I began to relax, knowing that I was in good hands. I felt confident with Attorney Barbara handling my case as she earnestly fought for my rights, informing and educating me every step of the way, as she expertly handled my divorce.
