Approximately 20 years ago I gave this attorney, whom I thought was a friend, a 4 star review, which I felt honestly reflected her amazing abilities and knowledge of her craft with a minor exception that didn't warrant fewer than 4 stars. Rather than trust me as a friend to be honest about my experie...nces and reflections, this attorney 20 years later, demanded that I give her a 5 star review before she help me with another matter. Something tells me this is not 4 star behavior. If businesses were able to dictate the reviews of their own businesses chances are a great majority of reviews would not provide an honest reflection of the customer's experience because what business is going to honestly say, we provide poor customer services, our associates are rude, we rarely respond well to customer complaints especially when it's true. Reviews are intended to be an honest reflection of THE CUSTOMER'S experience with a business and the business's opportunity to make changes where necessary or reinforce good practices accordingly. My 4 star review, that could very well have been a 1 star review if I were a spiteful person was in no way meant to cause harm to anyone in any way, shape or form but was intended to allow potential customers know this person is really good at what she does but she's also human and that is a quality that makes her an excellent attorney. In my mind you would need to be 100% perfect in every way, shape and form to receive 5 stars and unfortunately the quality of services and goods is declining with the progression of technology and lack of human consideration and respect for each other. So in summary, this attorney is excellent in her practices, is extremely knowledgeable in regard to the cases she handles, she's extremely honest and has high standards, if you decide to hire this attorney to handle your cases you WILL receive the best of the best. But I stand by my review from 20 years ago, which accurately and fairly reflected MY personal experience at that time and I'm sorry if anyone feels I'm wrong. I have also decided that it is probably best that I no longer refer friends and acquaintances, which I continued to do right up until a few months ago, simply because my opinion doesn't appear to matter if it isn't in alignment with the establishment.

Melissa Buckley helped me with obtaining SSDI after I was denied. She spoke to me at length and fact checked our conversation. She felt I absolutely deserved approval due to my disabilities and convinced me to reapply. During the process we were in constant contact via phone or office visits. Attorney Buckley was exceptional at listening to my situation to gain all facts, returning calls & emails, and walking me through the process. However, I didn't necessary feel she was that prototypical "bulldog" who would "fight" for all I was warranted. She is great at negotiation and settling but... I don't necessarily feel she fought hard enough for my interests at all time. Again, she is empathetic, timely, organized and sincere in all her efforts but not the tiger I personally needed at that time.
