exceptional attorney

Linda represented me in my very messy, drawn out divorce. My divorce was extremely complicated in that it involved domestic abuse, restraining orders, a house and three children. My ex would agree to nothing and basically wanted to take everything from myself and our children. We had no contact so al...l communication went through Linda. She was my lifeline- all phone calls were returned within a very short time frame. The case, the conflicts, the options were all discussed with me. Everything was explained in terms I could understand. She has a complete and thorough understanding of divorce law, and through this knowledge she was able to negotiate a very fair and equitable distribution of all maritable property. The above covers the legal aspects of a divorce. The emotional aspects are a different story altogether. Divorce is one of the most anxiety producing periods of any persons life. Every trip to court is frought with dread and fear of an unknown outcome. Your future is in the hands of your attorney, you have little to no control. Linda is absolutely wonderful in dealing with her clients during this emotional crisis. She listens to your fears, your wants, and she gives HONEST advise. She offers options, if there are any. She lets you vent and understands the reasons behind your frustration. And she fights for what is right and fair. She is a master at negotiating, and can and does pick apart the other sides arguements. She leaves no stone unturned. My divorce is long over (AMEN) and I am still in contact with Linda, and consider her a friend. She continues to assist me with any post judgement issues or questions I may have. Linda was referred to me, and I am extremely satisfied with the service she provided. I kept my house, I have sole custody of my children. Most importantly, I have a new life. A better life.

Finding a helpful lawyer....

Most of us who have to seek a lawyer for representation feel very alone, unsure of the future and need someone who is understanding of their situation, who will listen to them and give them good, sound advice. It is a very stressful time in a persons life. I know that's how I felt when I reached ou...t to Linda after following a friends strong recommendation to contact her. I had been trying for over a year to obtain a divorce from my now ex, who was an abusive drug addict, who despite restraining orders, still terrified me. What I found in Linda was a friend, someone who cared about what I was going through with a vast knowledge of the law to guide me. Anytime I needed her, she was always there for me, ready and willing to "hold my hand". When the day of my divorce finally arrived, even though my stomach was doing flip-flops, Linda had me laughing before I got on the stand and calmed all my fears about having to face him again. If you need a lawyer who is compassionate and will give you one-on-one attention, who is extremely thorough to detail and understands the law, then I highly recommend that you contact Linda.

"I endorse this lawyer. Linda is an excellent Family Law practitioner with an excellent grasp of the law, who knows how to get results in a Courtroom. Her contributions to the public show a willingness to give back to the community at large without remuneration, philanthropically, in a manner which speaks volumes regarding her character. You should speak to her if you have a family law issue in Connecticut."
