Biography
I am a former active duty United States Marine and in 2011, I took those "Corps" values and started the Law Offices of Patrick G. Hughes, LLC, where my practice areas consist of personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and residential and commercial real estate transactions. I earned a bachelor of science, summa cum laude, in Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University and my juris doctor from the University of Connecticut. During law school, I was an executive board member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board and an active member of the Student Trial Lawyers’ Association. I am an active member of the New Haven County Bar Association, and I currently serve as Vice President for the New Haven Young Lawyers Section. In 2010, and again in 2011, I was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers–Rising Stars Edition.
As I previously mentioned, prior to attending college, I served five years on active duty as an intelligence analyst in the United States Marine Corps, deploying in support of missions conducted over the Former Republic of Yugoslavia and the Republic of Korea.
I reside in Wallingford, Connecticut with my wife Allison Hughes, a real estate agent with William Raveis in Cheshire, our little girl Finley Georgia Hughes, and our two beagles.
I served my country in the Marine Corps, now allow me to serve you as your legal counsel.
