I sent my legal documents as agreed upon in our initial conversation to Mr Hughes. This was 6 months ago. He was to review the case before accepting to represent me, I thought by doing this he would know his own capabilities and make his own judgement on whether to accept it or not. Well I am still w...aiting. After numerous calls, faxes and emails he still has not made any contact nor has he returned my legal documents. I am not impressed. An email stating he was not able to take it on and the return of my documents would be appreciated. As an ex military family and reading he was a Marine .... I expected honour and trust .... there is none!!

My main concern is to minimize the negative effects my misdemeanor has on my future employ-ability. During the appointment he patien...tly listened to me and gathered all the relevant information pertaining to my case. He is an excellent listener and understood me from the start. He is also a good communicator, leaving me feeling very well informed with the knowledge of what is likely to happen, and what is not likely to happen. Later on, he informs me that for my particular case, it is possible for me to go to court without an attorney. He nevertheless gave me his business card telling me if I feel like I need him to represent me after my experience in court, he'd be there to help.
