Biography
I concentrate my practice in family law from pre-marital agreements to
post-trial hearings and appeals. Most of my cases are referred by both attorneys and satisfied clients. I have a very successful trial record that spans over 35 years in cases including complex high-net worth divorce, business valuation, mental health, addiction and abuse issues, along with relocation and other custody disputes. I am an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association’s family law section and the New Haven County Bar Association’s family law section executive committee. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and have an AV-rating by Martindale-Hubbell®’s The Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, which is the highest rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. I am also listed in Best Lawyers in America.
I have been appointed as a Special Master in numerous judicial districts and also for
the Regional Family Trial Docket. I've lectured and written on family law issues, including technology and legal ethics and appellate practice. My approach is to use creativity and personal attention to detail to execute individualized strategies that address each client’s goals and achieve the best possible results as efficiently as possible, whether by settlement or trial.
