Attorney Katz was engaged by our family to handle a very unique situation involving the burial of my father and mother in a local cemetery. Our father died first, and his cremated remains were buried at the cemetery and a headstone placed at the cemetery's direction. When our mother died, she w...as supposed to be buried with my father’s urn. But the cemetery buried her in the wrong plot, and could not find my father’s urn. Eventually the cemetery moved her to the correct plot, but my father’s urn was still missing. The cemetery company told us, “We believe we have filled all of our obligations.” Attorney Katz then filed suit on our behalf. Ultimately, through his efforts, my father’s cremains were found, we had a proper funeral and received a settlement in compensation for all that our family had been put through. At all times Attorney Jonathan Katz was reachable by the family and he worked tenaciously to get this matter resolved.
