I am a criminal law prosecutor with the State Division of Criminal Justice currently assigned to the New Haven Judicial District, G.A. 23. I have been with the division for fourteen years.
I came to the law in my middle years after a twenty-year career with the Guilford, Connecticut, police department where I retired at the rank of lieutenant.
I earned my law degree from the Quinnipiac University Law School, graduating in 2003. While in law school I served as the executive managing editor of the Law Review. I also served as a student representative on the Dean search committee. During law school I interned with the Bridgeport Law firm Koskoff, Koskoff and Bieder.
Following law school I began my legal career with the Faxon Law Group, a high end personal injury - medical malpractice firm, where I was an associate attorney. I left to join the state's attorney's office in New Haven where I am an assistant state's attorney, a move that returned me to criminal law and my roots.

"Here is all you need to know about Attorney Denison. He stands to yield no financial benefit from participating on Avvo. He needs not market himself to potential clients. Yet he contributes just the same, and offers expert assistance in the criminal law to those seeking answers to their posted questions. That proves he is a great lawyer and even better man."
"Attorney Denison spends a lot of time responding to questions posted on this website with informative and considerate answers which reflect a high degree of knowledge and expertise. He shows compassion and a willingness to help clients during difficult times. I endorse this lawyer"
