Jonathan Randolph Longobardi

Jonathan Longobardi is a civil litigation attorney with over a decade of experience in insurance defense. He practices in the areas of personal injury, transportation, medical malpractice and commercial litigation. He has tried cases to verdict and when appropriate, advises clients on the benefits of alternative dispute resolution methods.

Jon has experience both in drafting commercial contracts and litigating contractual issues. His prior work includes serving as in-house counsel for a national telecommunications company. In this role, he was immersed in a wide range of federal regulations, state and municipal laws, and contract law. He coordinated intricate projects that required extensive collaboration among professional services teams, business planners, and government affairs organizations. With a focus on the business objectives, Jon educates stakeholders on legal considerations such as risk management, legal obligations, and best practices. He develops a true partnership with his clients and tailors his approach to problem solving based on their feedback and input.

Jon serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater New Haven as well as co-chair of the corporate governance committee. He played a key role in the merger of two organizations into one multifaceted Club with locations throughout New Haven County. He has also served as a guest lecturer at Western New England University School of Law.

Additionally, Jon is an avid runner and recently completed the Hartford Marathon. He also enjoys coaching youth soccer.
