Ellen M. Lynch is a litigation attorney at Dolan Divorce Lawyers where she represents clients in a broad range of family law matters. Her practice includes divorce, custody, parenting plans, child support, post-judgment issues, restraining order matters, mediation, collaborative divorce, and the negotiation and drafting of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Attorney Lynch handles many of the firm’s restraining order cases, helping clients address urgent and sensitive circumstances with careful preparation and clear guidance. She understands that these matters often require quick action, steady judgment, and an ability to help clients focus on the legal issues that need to be addressed while also recognizing the stress and uncertainty they may be experiencing.

A significant part of Attorney Lynch’s practice also involves non-adversarial family law matters, including mediation, collaborative divorce, and premarital agreements. She works well with clients who are seeking a thoughtful and practical path forward, whether they are trying to resolve a divorce without unnecessary conflict or plan for the future through a carefully drafted agreement.

Before joining Dolan Divorce Lawyers, Attorney Lynch practiced at a New Haven law firm, where she gained experience in civil litigation, complex litigation, and family law matters. She began her legal career as a paralegal, a background that continues to inform her organized, client-centered approach to case preparation, communication, and problem-solving.

Attorney Lynch earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in History from Eckerd College. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the New Haven County Bar Association, and the Connecticut Council for Non-Adversarial Divorce.
