I consulted this lawyer in 1993. He asked for and I gave him a contingency fee of $1,000. The following day I called to advise him that the case had been resolved and I no longer needed his assistance. He refused to refund my money, stating that he had 'incurred expenses' . When I asked what thos...e were, as we had only met the previous evening, he became unpleasant and again refused to return my money. He had stated to me prior to our meeting that my 1hr initial consultation with him was free of charge. I never did get my money back.
