My case was primarily related with the restraining order/Child custody. At first, I hired a criminal defense lawyer and very soon in the process realized that I made a huge mistake. A day before the hearing, I fired him and reached our to Mr. Fred for help with the hearing the next day. Given such a ...stressful situation, I was so happy when, Mr Fred graciously agreed to help. He not only cleared his schedule for the day but also adjusted his other court appearances to accommodate for my hearing. I was totally stunned with his professionalism at that point. Further, he diligently studied my case and I must say that I was totally impressed with his attention to every small detail on my case. Next day, we go to hearing well prepared and I was very confident with Mr. Fred by my side. Prior to the hearing, negotiation with the opposing counsel started and Mr. Fred showed his real magic in dealing with the opposing counsel, such that they end-up withdrawing the restraining order hearing. Mr. Fred is a true professional and a hard to find attorney. He is strong and his knowledge goes far beyond anyone can think of. Without blinking, I will gladly recommend him to anyone.

After initially speaking with Fred I felt confident in my decision to hire him. That confidence was quickly proven misplaced as we began to go through the process. It became clear very early on that Fred was outmatched by co-counsel. She got him (and me) to concede to everything my ex-wife wanted.... Fred kept telling me that I had to concede or else I was going to spend over $20K to go to trial. In the end, I walked away with nothing except mountains of debt that my ex-wife slithered away from. In the end, Fred's advice to me was "file bankruptcy". Not exactly the representation I paid for. Looking back, I probably should have represented myself as I don't think I could do any worse than he did. And, I would have saved myself $15K. I certainly will NOT refer him to anyone that I know if they are in need of legal services.
