I found Gene honest straight forward. He did not sugar coat the possibilities. Gene handled my divorce, and during the divorce process I fell into addiction, making g the case difficult for anyone, but some how Gene managed to work with the other dogs with intelligence and patience, right up to day ...of trial, and 1 hour before court he got them to agree with the important things ending in my favor. Not only that Gene was right by my side during addiction when everyone else gave up on me, getting into a rehab 2 hours away visiting me every weekend. I had 2 other case Gene covered for me both criminal, one assault and breech of peace that he got dismissed and off the record Waterbury, and another severe threatening charge 2 counts. Gene at 1am in the morning left his family to come post my bail 1000 against 10000 bond. As a result I had two protective orders and x wife took me to court for some custody. Gene was diligent with prosecutor, to get me programs, then working with my probation officer to the point a year later charges dropped to disorderly conduct and 90 dollar fine. The civil case Gene did nothing but stress to me and the court the importance of the kids having time with father and take part in their life decisions. The case ended in my favor, again I was amazed cuz of the criminal charge and my addiction history. Ione of the things I like was his confident approach, win attitude, I was a little taken back first impression I judged it as arrogance, but came to realize it was driven by passion and an extensive experience not only from the legal aspect, but from every day Life understanding of, addiction , family, Traumas, relationships, emotional struggles, ,mental illness, divorce, and parenting. All in all I had 3 satisfying cases, a divorce with Gene all as the underdog, and they ended with me being satisfied and grateful the work if Gene Zingaro. From the financial aspect he was reasonable, but less then another lawyer I consulted with for criminal cases, and alot less then a local lawyer I consulted with for my divorce.the only concern is he was very busy with cases and i worried about my cases but not only was it a non-issue, but it reiterated to me how good people know he is for a reasonable charge.

I hired Att. Zingaro law firm for a divorce where I was pressured by one of his associates to sign so I wont have any more issues with my ex-wife! Big mistake, as it appears that he was more concerned with my ex-wife's well-being that mine. My ex-wife also filed criminal charges against me that Mr.Z...ingaro stated that he could handled. My case went on docket 7 times at which time the court ordered my arrest since I was not notified of the said. However, I was deployed and he did not notify regarding the issue on time and I am not sure if he notified the court. Needless to say that my last name was spelled incorrectly in court and even though I tried to inquire on my case, I could not because of the spelling error. His rude secretary attempted to blame me for the spelling error. Once I was able to check the status of my case, I paid him once more to handle this and instead, I was hit with a 25000 bond for failure to appear! Thankfully I found another attorney who is handling my case now. Even though Zingaro appears as a good attorney, he sends various associates to deal with the cases and of course they are not aware of all the details of the case. I am very disappointed with his service because I ended up with horrible divorce conditions, a huge bond and my charges were not dropped because the judge thought I was fleeing the justice when in fact I was deployed. I have hired now a different attorney to deal with my divorce conditions and we are getting good results and a criminal attorney who has helped my case. The law office of Zingaro did not worth the money.
