Sandra Rachel Stanfield

Sandy has a diverse civil practice, pursuing litigation and appeals in all Connecticut State, Appellate and Supreme Courts on behalf of businesses and individuals. Sandy has substantial experience in the areas of serious personal injury, employment law and discrimination, workers compensation, education issues, nursing home malpractice and litigation, professional negligence, medical malpractice and premises liability.Sandy is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts in Connecticut, as well as the state courts in Massachusetts. Sandy has tried cases and taken appeals before Connecticut state, Appellate and Supreme Courts, and in state court in Massachusetts, as well as practiced before the Connecticut Claims Commission, the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Workers Compensation Commission and other administrative agencies.

Sandy has enjoyed contributing to the community by coaching the mock trial team at Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts; by acting as a mentor to the Westfield State University Law Club; and by judging various moot court competitions at the University of Connecticut School of Law.
