Supports Dad no matter what
Kelly charge huge bills. She only support Dad’s. She don’t hesitate to lie in court. Makes every effort to separate Mom and baby. Highly misuse her power to get the result that she want. Holds grudge if you stop her payments and ruins you completely.

During those times, sometimes one party is not happy with the recommendations but at all times I undertake to be reasonable, accurate, honest and do what I believe to be in the best interests of my wards.

Heartless
There are many amazing lawyers in CT. Please don’t choose this one, unless you want someone who doesn’t care about you or your children.

Replied last July 06, 2021It is difficult to respond to an anonymous post from someone claiming that I represented them. There are times that I have to advise clients that there are limits in what the legal system can do for them. Sometimes people interpret this advice as not caring. In fact, I care a tremendous amount about all of my clients. Many of my clients have become long term friends. The fact remains, however, that there is only so much relief a legal system can provide despite my best efforts to assist my clients in navigating through that process.

Crook
Atty Therrien is a crook. She didn’t properly explain her billing services. Billed me hundreds of dollars. Made my case a nastier than it needed to be so she can collect more $. Worked past our retainer agreement then billed me thousands that I didn’t agree to her working past the exhausted agreement...

Replied last April 26, 2021The allegations set forth in this review are false. All of my billing practices are set out in a retainer agreement that each of my clients reads and signs. It explains the procedures clearly and concisely for billing by the hour, which is a reasonable and usual practice for family law attorneys. It is a lawyers ethical responsibility to keep working for a client until either the court allows the lawyer to withdraw from the case or the client replaces the lawyer. Lastly, I stopped working at my last firm to start my own firm. I was not let go.
