When we purchased our home in a neighboring town, our real estate agent recommended that we use Atty. Gister for our closing, which we did. Ms. Gister told us that we would receive our deed in the mail. However, we never did. After several calls to her, we were assured that the original deed wa...s forthcoming to us by mail. Since we never received it, we contacted our town hall whereby they told us that the deed had been sent to Ms. Gister in error. After numerous attempts to speak with her and finally making contact, she did not feel that us receiving the 'original' deed was the least bit relevant since we could just get a 'copy' of it from the town hall. Moot point. The woman was paid for her service but she did not complete her job, as well as her displaying to us a very careless, nonchalant attitude. The question I ask is was she possibly too busy running for selectwoman for the Town of Chester? Due to my encounters with this individual, I would never recommend her.
