My goal, and that of my firm, is to provide quality legal representation in a timely and cost-effective manner.

My clients receive the benefit of my years of experience in the construction industry, first as a project engineer, then superintendent, with O&G Industries, Inc. There, I was privileged to be counted among outstanding project teams that built a lock and dam, interstate highways, bridges, commercial offices, and other large projects. In addition, my clients receive the benefit of my years of experience as an attorney with Garcia & Milas, P.C., where I represented developers, municipalities, architects, and contractors in complex litigation, arbitration, and bankruptcy.

My practice areas respond to the legal needs of my clients, and include Business Law, Civil Litigation, Construction Law, and Real Estate. 

I assist the corporation, limited liability company, partnership, and sole proprietorship with its business formation, operations, commercial contracts, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, consolidations, sale, and dissolution.

I prepare contracts, subcontracts, mechanics’ liens, loan agreements, security agreements, promissory notes, and commercial leases. I litigate payment disputes, bid disputes, delay claims, disruption claims, warranty claims, design errors and omissions, defective work, incomplete work, contractor default, termination for cause, and termination for convenience.

I represent the buyer or seller of commercial or residential real estate.

I am admitted in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
