I hired Attorney William McCoy to represent me in my divorce. This review is based on my experience and my opinion of this lawyer. Other clients might have a different opinion. I do not claim to speak for others who have used this attorney, and can only speak for myself. With that said, I would say t...hat hiring Attorney William McCoy was the biggest mistake I ever made. His lack of diligence and competence cost me 50% of my disability annuity and other damages totally nearly $100,000.00. He failed to have my ex-wife do an Interrogatories and Product; therefore, we had no way to know what she was going to claim when this case went to trial. He did not present evidence that we had that would have drastically changed the outcome, nor did he use an expert witness, who was also a former federal agency, to refute claims by my ex-wife. It was as if he was representing my wife rather than me. On that subject I would like to advise those considering this attorney that he has already been disciplined once by the Bar for his misconduct. I didn’t know that until after it was too late. If asked if I would recommend this lawyer my answer would be a resounding NO!
