Attorney Marone was the representing lawyer for the buyer of a house that I was selling. Several months after I sold the house I received a tax bill from the town stating that the taxes were never paid at the closing by attorney Marone. I had called his office numerous times, requesting a receipt and... was told that the taxes had been paid I also had my representing attorney calling him and they also stated that the taxes were paid ( again another LIE ) by attorney Marrone. I finally decided to go to the town myself and check, and sure enough the taxes were still owed, attorney Marone never paid my taxes !!! I then made several more attempts to contact his office to have them pay the taxes since he had the money at the closing, finally, two weeks later, he paid the taxes. I wouldn’t recommend this attorney to do anything for anyone !!!
