Mark Dubois returned to private practice in 2011 after seven and a half years as Connecticut’s Chief Disciplinary Counsel. In the Fall of 2019 he returned to UConn School of Law as an assistant clinical professor and retired from that position in May, 2020 having taught there for 17 years either full time or as an adjunct or lecturer. As Chief Disciplinary Counsel he supervised an office of attorneys who investigated and prosecuted ethical misconduct by attorneys and the unauthorized practice of law. His private and consulting practice is focused on civil litigation, lawyer ethics/professional discipline and bar admission matters. He was board certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy for 20 years. Mr. Dubois also has taught law at Quinnipiac University Law School. He is a graduate of Holy Cross College and UConn Law School. He is a member of many local, state and national professional organizations. He is a past president of the Connecticut Bar Association. He speaks and writes on lawyer ethics issues. He is co-author of Connecticut Legal Ethics and Malpractice.
