Tae Im Chung

Attorney Tae Chung creates estate plans for individuals and families by seeking the simplest solutions to what can seem like complex problems. She incorporates the use of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and asset protection strategies to accomplish her clients’ objectives, which often involve preserving assets for family members, including those with special needs, minimizing gift and estate tax liability, and planning for long-term care needs and eligibility for Title XIX and other government assistance programs. Attorney Chung guides and supports her clients through the administration of trusts and the probate of small and full estates from start to finish. She is also experienced in representing individuals, trusts, and businesses in residential real estate matters.

Prior to joining The Prue Law Group, Attorney Chung served Coventry and neighboring communities in these practice areas. The Prue Law Group recently opened an office at 2181 Boston Turnpike in Coventry. So, she will continue to provide thoughtful and attentive service to the members of these communities.

Attorney Chung graduated from Boston University and St. John’s University School of Law. She moved to Connecticut after law school to clerk for several trial court judges in Stamford and Bridgeport, providing legal research and writing assistance on various civil and criminal matters. Thereafter, she practiced law in New Haven, representing hospitals, health care providers, non-profit organizations, and municipalities in all stages of workers’ compensation litigation.

Attorney Chung is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts, is a member of the Elder Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association and is conversant in Korean.

When she’s not in the office, she enjoys running, baking, and, of course, eating the baked goods she makes with her husband.
