From the time I hired Attorney Dumont and through the preliminary stages to the final award, she was caring, thorough, professional and supportive. She helped me get a restraining order in a domestic violence case. It was a complicated and upsetting situation and she was empathetic and emotionally re...assuring. I was hesitant to spend money for an attorney because I was on a tight budget and was already spending a lot of money on other things such as an alarm system etc to feel safe. Also, my father was helping me as he had studied law so we questioned if it was necessary to have an attorney. I was very happy with our decision to hire her. She was generous with her time and she and her assistant were always readily available to help me. Attorney Dumont is experienced and knowledgeable. She made it a smooth process by helping me know exactly what to expect and by building a solid case. It is obvious Attorney Dumont puts her heart in her work and cares greatly about the work she is doing and the people with whom she is working. I am happy to have found an attorney who I feel ‘has my back’. I am glad to have her as my attorney for any legal needs I may have in the future.

Attorney Dumont was hired to help me with post-divorce custody and child support battle. She took the time to understand my concerns and the details of my case. She was passionate about helping me and my family, and always had my child's best interest in mind, like he was her own. She showed care ...and concern, was professional, tactful, and personable throughout an extensive (and painful) 7 month long court process. I am very grateful for all of Attorney Dumont's efforts on my case. Her strength, attention to detail, empathy, communication skills, and no nonsense was inspiring to say the least. Ms. Dumont did NO work on my case! No research that she stated her office “loved to sink their teeth into!” I would call and ask when we were going to discuss matters and she would constantly put me off, telling me we “still had two more weeks til court!” This was a very complex case with an abusive ...ex and equally abusive attorney! She incorrectly filed motions! And when I finally told her I was sick of the lack of communication (I’m out of state which makes everything much harder!) she announced she was quitting! I said fine and told her not to do ANYTHING ELSE with my case and that I wanted my retainer back since nothing had been done. She agreed, filed a motion to be heard at the day of the hearing to be dismissed—meaning we all had to be there(!) and that’s when I learn she requested documents from my ex!! Including things we didn’t even need because I ALREADY HAD THEM!! This woman should NOT BE an attorney! She was constantly rude, uncommunicative and totally failed to do her job! Yes, I am also notifying the bar association!
