In 2016, I hired attorney Chambers to represent me in a complicated and very challenging criminal case. I went to his office and explained to him what had transpired, and how my ex-wife kept putting fraudulent charges against me while I was deployed two years prior. Mr. Chambers was very understandin...g, professional, kind, with a great sense of humor, extremely knowledgeable, and therefore, I decided to hire him! Having Mr. Chambers representing me was the best choice I could have made. Immediately the next day when we went to court, he did a superb job in explaining to the judge my situation, and the judge understood it and did not order any jail time. I was so pleased with the outcome, as I was afraid that I would lose my career over these unsubstantiated charges. My case was difficult, yet Mr. Chambers did everything in his power to ensure that we are successful. During the next year, I appeared in court with him as requested, and in the end, my charges were dismissed!! I couldn't be happier with the outcome! This happened in 2018. A bondsman recommended him and I regret taking his advice. I paid attorney Chambers $5000 for my case. It was pretty straight forward and I had one charge that my focus was getting rid of and he assured me that chances were as good as in the bag. However after fighting my case ...for 8 months I brings it up the day of sentencing and acted like he had no idea what I was talking about even though we talked about it every time we spoke. I had 2 courts and I was supposed to get sentenced from both the same day but I got sent to jail and had to go back 3 times to get sentenced from the last court. Once I was in jail he saw me once but then he didn't even show up to court not once but twice! He had a local lawyer, attorney O'Brien out of Rockville, step in. I never met the guy a day in my life. So basically he got $5000 to get me continuances until I went to jail then he didn't care. I read all these great reviews and I feel like I got played. So warning don't be fooled by the smooth talking lawyer act who drives a nice foreign car that tries to relate to you by swearing and coming off like a regular guys. I should have went with a public defender and used the money on commissary.
