Jonathan Ross Sills

Attorney Sills was incredible. Not only is he personable and guided me through the uncomfortable and stressful process without a hitch, but he also knows his stuff and his knowledge made the difference in my case. I did not know about the "clean slate" act. I had a misstep as a young man 20 yea...rs ago, and it would have affected my case. Attorney Sills argued my past charge should not be taken into account because of the Clean Slate Act, and because of that I was treated as a first offender. I was handed down a much more manageable consequence as a result. I'm dumb for the mistake I made, but overall I'm a good law abiding citizen and family Man, and I needed his help to guide me through this. If I tried to save money and go at it myself, I would have not known that and would have been given a much stiffer punishment. Having Attorney Sills on my side made all the difference. Another reason I liked working with Mr. Sills was because he was trustworthy. I spoke with a different lawyer before I called Attorney Sills. That lawyer said my case should be $10,000 but he would "cut me a deal for $8,000 because I was a veteran". SMH, I felt like I was buying a used car. I then called Attorney Sills and he was a straight shooter, it was just "here's our rate", no haggling, this is what it is. I liked that a lot, and the price was half the price of the other guy who supposedly "was cutting me a deal". He's fair, friendly, and knows his stuff. He and his paralegal team were very communicative with all the steps in the process, all I needed to do was follow their direction and I was good to go. One last thing I liked, which seemed to help although I never discussed it with him. He is local to the greater Hartford area and seems to knows these folks well. The prosecutor, the judges, Bail commissioner, etc. He seems to have everyone's respect, and when negotiating a case that personal touch has got to matter somewhat I would guess. I don't know how much difference it made, but it did give me comfort that he seemed to know the room and they seemed to know him. All in all, I can't say enough about the guy. I know this may sound embelished like I'm his Aunt writing a review or something, but trust me, I'm a real dude. A 45 year old Army Vet, football Coach, career in sales. I'm a legit person who was very fortunate to have made the decision to go with Mr. Sills. I never stop to write reviews but after how great he was, I had to leave him a top rated review, he deserves it and I couldn't be more thankful for his help. On his Website, he has a phrase that says something along the lines of, "Don't allow your life to be ruined because of one mistake". Theat originally caught my eye because overall I'm a family man that made a rare mistake but shouldn't be ruined for it. Exactly what that phrase said is what happened. I did have some consequences as I should have, but my life is not ruined from it and I am able to stay afloat and get back on track moving forward thanks to Attorney Sills. If you ever find yourself in a jam, Mr. Sills is your Man. You will not regret it, and hopefully this review helps steer you in the right direction.
