I am very appreciative of websites like Avvo--it is amazing to still find good professionals who also happen to be good people; for they might benefit from freely donating time to answer posts, offer guidance, comfort worrisome people like me (...endlessly preoccupied about finding legal advice to save my apartment unit, on the one hand, while on the other, also genuinely concerned about being reciprocal), but they might also be taken for granted if we neglect to say a kind word regarding their generous nature. Attorney kristen Garlans comes to mind (among others)! From the get-go, Ms. Garlans answered emails, offered leads as follow ups and resources I could and did explore. Nothing has been resolved yet regarding my situation but I am positive good people like attorney Kristen Garlans will help me find a way, whether I end up hiring their services or not.
