She's a great Lawyer!
She is straight forward, and direct. Her fees are fair. She returns calls, and advocates for her clients. If you don't believe that CT has a Superior Court Family judge problem, then look up the issue in the CTMIRROR.ORG and you'll see how many judges are being complained about by defendants.

excellent Attorney
I hired her last Summer, she helped me get Joint Physical and Joint Legal Custody with a small child. Unlike the other attorneys I consulted with, she worked with me financially. She has a good heart, and gets results!

Good attorney
Attorney Mathers was grieved in 2014, like it says here below. However, I know the details of this, and it's unfortunate that she tried to advocate for her client's rights by calling out an unethical judge for robbing a parent of their children. Judges hate attorneys who don't "play the game". I am happy with Attorney Mathers's services. I have been using her since my case opened last year. She came at the recommendation of a friend. The system punishes attorneys who do the right thing for their clients.

Great representation
Alisha C. Mathers represented me in my divorce. She was thorough, professional, on time, and kept me in the loop. Her price was her price, no surprises, or "add-on" fee's even though the case was extended twice, by the other side. She was not intimidated by the low life tactics practiced by the opposition. She knows her way around a courtroom and the rooms of the Special Masters. I have reccomended her to other's and I will continue to do so.

Rude
She’s been suspended for 9 months… very unprofessional, smuggling, lying and more. Claims to have some DV background, you would think she’d be more sympathetic…

A thief with a license
I am not sure how this person still has a license. Not only did this person take my case and the money. She took my money and I never heard from this lady again. I never received a explanation or a call back from this lady. This lady needs to be reported to the authorities.

WHAT TO SAY ABOUT ALISHA......
What can I say about Alisha, except HORRIBLE! Dragged my case forever, wanted more money all the time even though we agreed on the amount and I had paid it before she took the case. Didn't do anything but make promises and continue my case from one hearing to the next. I had to get help from another lawyer, and when I told her what needs to be done, she through a hissy fit and quit on me. And that is 2 days before the pre-trial was scheduled to start. All of this combined and I feel that a 1 is way to generous of a score for her, but this system doesn't allow anything lower. However, she is.
