Better off self representing

Paid almost $10,000 to be miscommunicated to and mislead. She told me I can get half of my marital home from my ex and I ended up walking away with less than $35,000 when I expected $75,000.

The court made a decision based on the evidence. I personally hate to see things like this happen, but I do not wear the black robe, and I do not make the ultimate decision. For the record, I felt the decision was incorrect also.

Although you tried to remain anonymous. I know who the client is for this case. I wish that person would contact me and discuss. "They" wanted solutions which fit only one idea and was not legally allowable. I work within the bounds of the law. I do wish I could get every client what I feel and the client feels is fair, but the court always decides in the end. Please know that I want what my client wants in the end as long as it is legally allowable. As always I wish you the best.

Horrid

She told me she would fight my case, instead she bullied me into settling for an arrangement that I did not want, saying that I would likely lose custody if I didn't comply. It was quid quo pro, so basically she did next to nothing. If I knew this I would have never hired her!! She blamed me for not ...aborting my kids when I knew my ex was a horrible person. She neglected to call the motion for child support on the last court date. I had to do that on my own after the court case. Then ended up with $35 a week for two children as he had a lawyer and I did not. She lambasted me for my lifestyle and opinions. The last court date was erroneously filed as final judgement when we were supposed to come back for at least one more court date. Instead of correcting this, she concluded her services. Completely unprofessional and uncaring.

This case was fought, but the client left off important information which damaged her credibility in court. Unfortunately, she had to settle the case rather than continue and face worse ramifications I wish her the best and have run into her in court where she was pleasant to me.

Extremely Professional Attorney

Mrs Evanko is representing my wife in a custody case, and before we decided to hire an attorney we felt the case was pretty cut and dry, but the father was constantly lying to the courts and other officials and it was becoming very frustrating to navigate the legal system while fighting his games. At...torney Evanko is a strong, dedicated, and professional attorney and she isn't letting him get away with it any more. My wife has a voice in the system now and for the first time in a very long time, things in the matter are finally progressing in a positive direction. Attorney Evanko has not only helped by representing my wife, she has also empowered her and made her feel hopeful about the outcome of the case for the first time. Attorney Evanko and her firm have very fair rates and payment plans which are so completely different from everything I have ever seen from any other attorney. She is not only an amazing attorney, but she is also quickly becoming a good personal contact for our family. I am looking into starting my JD degree in the next year or two and she is offering great advice and recommendations on working towards a legal career. Attorney Evanko is a different experience than I have ever had with any lawyers; from the very first moments we sat down with her for the consultation we could tell she was different. She is very family focused and oriented, and with her and the firm it doesn't seem like they are after money, you truly feel like they care more about helping people than getting rich. It is so comforting and reassuring to have that atmosphere to come to. Great firm and an amazing attorney. Anyone lucky enough to have Attorney Evanko represent them will quickly find out what we are talking about. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Employment & Dept of Labor - Successful Litigation

Back in 2009 I consulted Attorney Evanko re: an employment/pink slip/department of labor issue that had a major effect on my life. After an unexpected family tragedy and illness, I was unfairly treated by an employer. Atty Evanko was able to attend my hearing with me and picked up on something the DO...L did not, which she successfully argued, and brought to the attention of the DOL. The result was our victory and hopefully being able to stop the employer from unfairly treating someone in future.
