Lack of performance lack of preparedness lack of everything

Horrible attorney. If I could put 0 Stars I would consultation on September 13th 2024 discussed action plan goals, fears concerns what I needed. What I wanted, she chalked herself app a good game. She even told me she knew the other attorney on how to maneuver this case smoothly for me. I trusted in ...her i believed in her and September 18th retained her. She had 5 weeks to get prepared for my case. On October 24, 2020 for October 16th I texted her asking her what she needed as I was doing her legwork on the case, providing her with all the weapons she needed to fight my case for me. We discussed pelusi port's pictures. Photos. Everything I got her everything she needed before our court case. All she needed to do was one job file. A bunch of motions for me that we discussed that she told me she would do for me and she failed to do so I showed up to court October 24th. What a crap show They walked all over us and I'm there confused, wondering what went on and everyone's asking her and wondering where are my motions? The judge is confused. Wondering, where are my motions? I am crying and begging and speaking of issues and concerns and safety issues, so my son would not be released to an abusive criminal. Who's been in and out of jail in and out of warrants for the abuse? He's done to me in front of the child. Multiple occasions and drug selling, too unchild. Proof containers so that my son would stay protected with me me and I would go for full custody of my son, but she failed me so bad that my son is being released now over there. That's how bad she failed me. By not being prepared for court and her lack of performance here of protecting and serving her clients like she should have done for me. Due to her negligence, I am facing my fears and concerns and living them currently right now. Thanks to her, I even received a contempt because of her going to a judge meeting with the other attorney and letting them place a new order without consulting with me or a verifying with me and Letting a new order. Come in without a motion being filed for that. Yet, she fought nothing for me and never informed me of the new change in the new order for that same day of Halloween, which was my holiday. It was in order to give up the baby and split my day with him, which I knew nothing about for 7 PM and guess what? They filed a contempt on me. The next day. So yes, she created such a huge mess here for me and has put me in the bottom worst position. I could ever be in here and now unfortunately, I need to clean up her mess now and get myself a better attorney whom does not have any grievances, filed on them or rep? A man's currently as Tamara does look her up and do your research? Because that's where I fell short, listening to someone that that referred me that proudly never even used her before, apparently, because she was horrible. Horrible, be careful everyone. She also, in regards to those motions. Asked me to pay her an extra $180 in order to file the motions for me that she failed to file on October 24th for court and then tells me that if I didn't have the funds because she didn't have the funds to file these motions for me that she would tell the judge that I didn't have the money and I needed more time. And I say to her, you cannot go in there. A second time without my motions filed, and I sent her the $180 instantly very unprofessional. She blamed me for things as well. All these reviews of what people are saying are very true and it's been a Lotta things she's been doing lately. So it really shows that there's stuff going on here. I apologize to anyone who has felt victim to Tamera, harming their case and not working for them. Good luck everyone I have filed all my paperwork aganist her.I would like my full retainer back.Thank you

It is unfortunate that you felt this way. The evidence in opposition is there to support

Better off self representing

Paid almost $10,000 to be miscommunicated to and mislead. She told me I can get half of my marital home from my ex and I ended up walking away with less than $35,000 when I expected $75,000.

The court made a decision based on the evidence. I personally hate to see things like this happen, but I do not wear the black robe, and I do not make the ultimate decision. For the record, I felt the decision was incorrect also.

Horrid

She told me she would fight my case, instead she bullied me into settling for an arrangement that I did not want, saying that I would likely lose custody if I didn't comply. It was quid quo pro, so basically she did next to nothing. If I knew this I would have never hired her!! She blamed me for not ...aborting my kids when I knew my ex was a horrible person. She neglected to call the motion for child support on the last court date. I had to do that on my own after the court case. Then ended up with $35 a week for two children as he had a lawyer and I did not. She lambasted me for my lifestyle and opinions. The last court date was erroneously filed as final judgement when we were supposed to come back for at least one more court date. Instead of correcting this, she concluded her services. Completely unprofessional and uncaring.

This case was fought, but the client left off important information which damaged her credibility in court. Unfortunately, she had to settle the case rather than continue and face worse ramifications I wish her the best and have run into her in court where she was pleasant to me.
