Biography
I'm a Connecticut trial lawyer, and I represent people who have been seriously hurt by someone else's carelessness or misconduct. I founded Baber Law, LLC in 2025, with offices in Vernon and Middletown, after more than sixteen ears litigating injury and abuse cases in Connecticut Superior Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. Before opening my own firm, I helped build Aeton Law Partners into a statewide litigation practice.
Much of my work involves sexual abuse survivors, including claims against the schools, churches, daycares, youth programs, and state agencies that allowed the abuse to happen. I also handle medical malpractice, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, and serious motor vehicle and truck collisions, along with civil rights and employment discrimination cases. I also take property cases that many firms turn away, including claims against neighbors and tree services who cut down trees on someone else's land.
I keep my caseload deliberately small so that every client works directly with me, not a case manager. I build each case as if it will be tried, because the cases that settle well are the ones the other side knows we are ready to try. Clients hear from me about every development, and they get a straight answer when they ask how their case is going.
I handle injury, abuse, and malpractice cases on a contingency basis: no fee unless we recover. Consultations are free and confidential. I'm a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law and a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
