Matt was my lawyer is a recent personal injury action. Matt is excellent in many ways. His grasp of the law. His willingness to research areas in which he knows 99% but wants to know 100%. His creativity--he thought of a new action which resulted in a better outcome than the original action. His comm...unication skills. Consulted Atty Willis over a speeding ticket that could have become reckless driving. With my past driving record I was afraid I would get my license suspended. Atty Willis basically just scared me more than I already was, gave me some advice on going it alone and told me to call him as a last reso...rt after losing in court. I'm not sure if Atty Willis just didn't want my case or if he really felt he couldn't do anything for me. Either way I can not recommend hiring him for a traffic ticket.

Going above 85mph in CT is a misdemeanor, and one I was charged with after not paying attention to my speed while traveling from Boston to New York. As a high school teacher, not having a misdemeanor on my record is critical to my career. Matthew Willis guided me through the process of applying for a... first-time program of judicial monitoring, reassured me throughout this period of crisis with his calming presence, argued successfully for the judge to grant me the program, and ultimately, one speeding-free year later, had the misdemeanor charge dropped. I could have never done this alone and Matthew was integral to getting me to this point. Highly recommended!

I had 3 infractions I was cited for, during this time I already had my license suspended and was on the fast track for it to be suspended yet again. I had no idea what to say in court and no idea as to how to fight these.
