You’re better off with a public defender or representing yourself. He is very unprofessional, doesn’t try for best possible resolution and he used to work for the states attorney. Talk about conflict of interest. He should retake his BAR exam or get his card taken. He is definitely involved in Ex par...te communications and proceedings.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I DEFINITELY WOULD! I don't know what going on with that negative post but clearly he shouldn't involved himself with a lawyer if he can't afford the hard work Mr.Matthew puts in!! He's amazing, very professional, kind, and will fight hard for your case. He's an ama...zing attorney and anyone who doubts him at his work ethic is a fool because his job, work, has him GREAT AT IT!! He's been very great with working things out with us, legally, financially, and his kindness makes him all that much better. I would recommend Mr.Matthew E. If there was anything lower than a 1... i would definitely rate him that. I was treated very poorly by this attorney he basically acted like he did not want to do anything in reference to my case. Matthew was not even sure how to find me and was asking me questions that are clearly on the docket in ...front of him. He made me feel very discourage and then gave me a quote of $11,000 min retainer without even fully understanding my case. He seemed confused and lacked experience...Me as a consumer recommend to not use him and anyone who genuinely has serious charges look else where. I am not even going to describe his phone ethic. That was Ludacris.. this man is way to sarcastic--I hope he has a day job.. Then he laughed at my charges when i expressed deep concern then told me i am better off looking for a public defender...
