Robert L Rispoli

Robert has worked in the aerospace industry and brings engineering and manufacturing experience to his legal practice. He handles patent, trademark, copyright and other IP matters, and corporate transactions involving the transfer of such assets. His current practice ranges from seeking protection for a hand tool for an individual inventor to energy generation methods for corporate clients. Robert also has handled IP litigation matters; both as plaintiff and defendant.

Robert understands the rules, advantages and disadvantages of creating a corporate structure; particularly in light of protecting intellectual property. He encourages his clients to engage other professionals when necessary, such as an accountant or a financial planer and asset manager, and then Robert works with his clients and these other professionals to develop a prudent strategy for moving forward with a business plan.

Robert’s aerospace, fuel reforming, and combustion experience provide valuable insight to the development of next-generation energy generation devices. His is able to draw upon his IP, corporate, and government legal practice experience to provide counsel to clients.

Robert’s engineering experience provides a strong basis for handling environmental matters. His experience in navigating the federal regulations compliments his scientific knowledge. Robert has represented clients before the US Environmental Protection Agency, the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the CT Department of Environmental Protection with respect to permit applications, permit transfers, and violations. He also handles issues for property owners regarding environmental matters.
