2015 we entered into a contract to purchase a private residence. We soon decided that the property did not satisfy our needs and through our agent informed the owner we were no longer interested and were cancelling the contract. This was all done within the time period established by the contract. ...Some six weeks after the notification and outside the terms the owner announced through her attorney that she would sue for damages to include moving furniture, storing furniture, shipping furniture to family and friends and cosmetic and repairs preparing for sale the total mounting to some $10,000.00 dollars. Our initial attorney advised some one more experienced than he and so we contacted Joel Iannuzzi whom we knew by reputation. Within a day Mr Iannuzzi cited pertinent State Supreme Court decision in the matter, informed plaintiffs attorney who then agreed there was no case and the lawsuit was retracted forthwith. We were so highly impressed by Mr Iannuzzi's efficiency and effectiveness in his swiftness in resolving the question.
